A recent project carried out in Stirling involving the backfill and reinstatement of a multi utility trench to class 2 specifications. Using combined reinstatement methods consisting of traditional backfill and the use of foam concrete, we worked hand in hand with our client to ensure that the job was completed ahead of the required timescales. Happy days!

Huge congratulations to our Business Development Director, Mr Michael McMonagle who retires today after 16 years service with Leegal Contracts Ltd.
 
With nearly 50 years experience in the utilities industry Michael has been an invaluable member of our team since joining us in 2008.
 
Although we are saddened to see him go, we would like to take this opportunity to thank Michael for his commitment, loyalty and service with the company and we sincerely wish him and his family all the best for the future ahead.

Some large patch repair works carried out recently in Renfrew finished in a 30/14 HRA wearing course. Job was completed within our specified timescales and to our client’s satisfaction. Thankfully we managed to dodge the rain too!

A multi utility project currently being carried out in Stirlingshire for one of our valued clients.
 
The scope of the works for Leegal Contracts Ltd is to provide a full reinstatement backup service consisting of material supplies, backfill, spoil removal and final reinstatement.

We are pleased to announce the acquisition of 2 new grab wagons.

They are currently being prepared by Kel-berg Trailers & Trucks Ltd with delivery to expected very soon. These grab loader equipment are fitted with Kel-Berg Grab Loader installation, Edbro  underfloor TS tipping RAM, and Palfinger UK Epsilon M125 crane.

Additionally these vehicles are fitted with roof beacon, transcover sheeting system, strobe lights, reverse camera, steel toolbox, manual wacker carrier, mirror guards, and our Leegal Contracts’ livery.

Friday 25/08/2023 (12:00 noon).
Question – Can this 125m of track be backfilled, spoil removed and reinstated to class 2 specification by close of play on Sunday?
 
Sunday 27/08/2023 (17:00 hrs).
Answer – Of course it can!

This weather has certainly cheered up our surfacing crews over the last couple of weeks! Some photographs of a surfacing job carried out this week to footpaths in Renfrew. Job was completed within our specified timescales and to our client’s satisfaction.

2nd June 2023

A recent project carried out in High St, Glasgow after a major sewer repair. The job involved the restructuring and resurfacing of the existing carriageway which was completed using an asphalt surface course. Luckily the sun came out in time for the reinstatement of all road markings. Happy days!

6th April 2023

A recent project carried out in Bearsden over a period of 4 days. Around 700 metres of carriageway was planed out and resurfaced using 30/14 Asphalt. In addition 200 metres of footpath was reinstated to match the existing surface. Finally thermoplastic lining was applied to finish the project off. Happy days!

A recent project carried out in Rothesay on the beautiful Isle of Bute. The job involved the planing out of the existing carriageway junction, resurfacing using a bitumen enriched wearing course and luckily the sun came out during the reinstatement of all road markings.
